Coffee
Our process is a true labor of love; we plant our coffee under the shade of our coffee farm’s native trees in the Matagalpa mountains. Once this step is complete, we wait. We wait for three years before the coffee bean has reddened and has shown itself to be ready for harvest. The harvest season takes place during the months of October - December, and in those months our team gathers for hours each day to care for each bean by hand picking and sun drying them to soon ship to Austin.
Once in Austin, we roast the beans weekly with care to bring out the true essence of our coffee; delivering an honest cup to our drinkers. In our cup profile you may taste hints of ripe fruits, cocoa, and brown sugar, with a beautiful, smooth body that won’t leave you with a bitter aftertaste.
